The Angry Forest

The Trees are very angry and Tyltyl's magic stone awakens their spirits and put the children in great danger. A very dark scene in the original play that was lightening up a lot in the previous film versions, but the latest version of the Blue Bird will have the scariest version of that scene ever to be put before a movie audience.

The Blue Bird

Our next project is an adaptation of the classic play by Maurice Maeterlinck.

The blue bird follows the magical journey of Mytyl and Tyltyl as they search for the illusive bird that represents happiness. Just like our idea of happiness, the bird is always just out of reach. The journey begins as Tyltyl gets a magical hat with a mystical stone near the forehead and when the stone is turned he sees the true nature of things. This allows him to speak to the spirits of many things including, fire, water, light, father time, his dog and cat. These characters appear in human form to represent how the children can understand them.

Everything can Happen!

Spring 2013 join us to discover the mysterious world of mind and imagination as we explore the illusion of perception. Great changes are often the result of a change in how we view our world, a paradigm shift. Join us for experimental films, live performances, art, workshops and exploration centers. Look and then look again because things are not always as they appear and everything can happen.

Films

The films will explore the idea of questioning your reality and perception. Things aren't always what they seem.

Artwork

We will be exhibiting artwork that plays with the viewers perception and assumptions and contains ideas about life, spirit and the nature of reality. We will be exhibiting such things as illusionist art, sacred geometry, augmented reality, fractals and holograms.

Workshops

We will offer workshops in such areas as creative thinking, brainstorming, rethinking education, story driven curriculum, how to create pictures with hidden images using Photoshop, the future potential of augmented reality and how technology is changing our reality.

BHTS Unreality

Here's some behind the scenes footage from our recent short film "Unreality". In preparation for the 48 hour contest we challenged ourselves to create the story based on random elements and have the story created and shot in one day. The whole process including editing took less than 30 hours.

Paiting Vengeance

Here are some images from our latest short film project, "Painting Vengeance." In preparation for the contest this film was shot in only one weekend. On the left is a composite image showing the painting of anger and hatred created by the artist Yang Peng. To the right is an image of our storyboarding process. We keep each image on a separate piece of paper so that they can easily be rearranged.

Alomus Particle

Here's some work we've done on a new science fiction short film called, "The Alomus Particle" The story is loosely based on the classic, "The Little Princess". A man stranded on a lonely planet suffering from amnesia gets a distress call from someone claiming to be his daughter. Can he remember his past and save his daughter on time?

48 hour contest

The team came to a meet and greet for the 48 hour film contest. On October 19th we will be competing in the 48 hour film contest. We will be challenged to create a film in only one weekend. It's a great challenge, but we have an amazing team.
